The Ford F-100 is a 1/2-Ton, regular cab truck that was part of the 1951-1952 Ford F-Series. While on the same chassis as the original F-100 significant updates were made to the exterior styling, from the cab to the pickup bed and interior convenience features. Notably, the front end was updated to a broader ''horizontal wing'' grill. Overall the powertrain and drivetrain were updated to be more robust and reliable, including the traditional flathead V8 mated to a three or four-speed manual transmission. Ford marketed this generation as ''The Worlds Greatest Trucks,'' and heavier-duty versions were available such as the F-2 and F-3. This truck has a flat bed and does crank up and run. It needs a little more TLC to get it in good running condition. The interior is in great shape and is a solid truck. This was a local purchase and barn kept. 6000.00
